A look at the table, the second position at the end of the autumn season with the information that they belong to the group of only three clubs in the first league caravan with a positive goal difference, with a place in the quarter-finals of the Cup of Montenegro - are more than enough reasons for everyone in Petrovac with great enthusiasm and quite carefree are enjoying the championship break.
From the initial goal - for Petrovac to remain a stable first division team, since it is the only one, along with Budućnost and Sutjeska, to have played all previous first division seasons in independent Montenegro, under Mali brdo they are now "living" different dreams.
- We are all very satisfied in the club with the half-season, now the primary goal is to maintain the second place until the end, which guarantees an exit to Europe. It is unrealistic to expect anything more, because the leader Budućnost has shown that it has the longest bench and is the most stable team. We threatened them in the last autumn game, it seemed that the match would go to our side with the score 1:1, we had two unused goals, and then the duel was solved by the individual class of Milan Vukotić - the story for "Vijesti" Petrovac coach Zdravko Dragićević.
- And not only with the results, we are particularly satisfied with the continuity of good games, which were sometimes not rewarded with victories. However, we have too much reason for optimism, as the players have shown that they are great workers and people with a healthy fight in the competition for first-team status. The players who came to the club from the beginning of the preparations fully justified the expectations, they proved to be real reinforcements. Here, the Argentinian Diego Castanjeda, whom we hired by watching videos, proved that he is a refresher, not only for our club, but also for the entire Montenegrin league - highlights Dragićević.
The Petrovčani coach does not hide his ambition for his team to be competitive on both fronts during the football spring.
- Our new goals and ambitions also require refreshment and we are working on strengthening the team. We have the opportunity to make the season one of the best and most successful in the club's history, so there is no waiting. It is encouraging that everyone from the current squad has expressed their desire to stay, and again we want to create healthy competition in the fight for the first team. We want to leave our mark in the Cup as well, because we are playing the quarter-finals with Rudar in our stadium, and then there are only two more games until the biggest holiday of our club football, which is the final of the Montenegro Cup, as the last game of the season. We know what that means and we will do our best to be the actors of the most beautiful home game - Dragićević does not hide his ambition.
He has experience in lifting the Cup trophy, because in 2009 he did it as the captain of Petrovac. That summer, the club from the coast also set standards, because in the 2nd round of qualification for the Europa League, they eliminated Cypriot Anorthosis, they were eliminated only by Sturm in the 3rd round.
- There is no room for idleness, we approached this season responsibly in all club structures and it gave results. Now we are already negotiating with several players who we think would be reinforcements and so that we can all start preparations together on January 13. And we will have to let go of some younger players in order for them to play more and we will monitor which of them will be useful to us in the future. They need more minutes on the pitch - concludes Dragićević.
Preparations and classes for the Pro license in Antalya
The residents of Petrovac will take a step further this winter, they will stay for preparations in Antalya.

- I will stay there and study as part of the FSCG Education Center program. I was lucky enough to pass my application for the Pro license and to find myself in this extremely talented group of candidates with great mentors, lecturers and work program. I believe that what was learned in that program meant the results of the team until the half-season, and next year I expect the title of coach with a Pro license - emphasized Zdravko Dragićević.
