Croatian football coach Ivan Jurić has terminated his contract with Roma and is one step away from taking over Southampton, Italian media reported today.
Sky Italia reported that the negotiations between Jurić and Southampton have progressed and that he has already terminated his contract with Roma. He was fired by the Italian club a month ago, after two months on the bench, but he was still under contract.
Some media reported that Jurić had already reached an agreement with the Premier League player.
The Croatian coach led Roma in 12 games and achieved four victories, when he replaced Daniele De Rossi on the bench in mid-September.
Before that, he was coach of Torino for three seasons, from 2012 to 2024, with whom he achieved 122 victories in 45 games.
