Great recognition for the Montenegrin national team member Risto Radunović - the FCSB footballer was declared the best foreign player in Romania in 2024.
FCSB finished the first part of the season in Romania in second place with the same number of points (37) as the first-placed Cluj, and Radunović played 28 games in the position of left back in all competitions.
"It is a great honor and joy for me to receive the award for the best foreign football player. This award has a special meaning for me, because it comes from a community that promotes sports values and recognizes hard work, effort and dedication. I would like to thank my teammates, coaches, club management and fans who supported me and gave me the opportunity to show my worth. This award is not only for me, but for all those who stood by me and contributed to my achievements. What a wonderful way to end the season in such beautiful style. I wish you all happy and joyful holidays," said Radunović.
The Montenegrin representative has been in Romania since 2017. That summer, he arrived in Astra from Budućnost, from where he came to FCSB in 2021.
Radunović won the title in Romania and the Supercup of that country the previous season.
