Rodri won the Ballon d'Or for the best player in the world in 2024, that choice of France Football caused a lot of controversy, and now Cristiano Ronaldo has become a part of it.
The Portuguese, who received this award five times in his career, believes that Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid deserved the award.
"My opinion is that Vinicius deserved to win the Ballon d'Or. I say this for everyone to hear, that choice was unfair," Ronaldo said.
The Brazilian with the "royal club" won the Champions League and the title of champion of Spain, while Rodri was the champion of Europe in the jersey of the Spanish national team.
The Manchester City midfielder was also named the best player of the Euros.
"Rodri deserved the award, but I think Vinicius should have won it because he won the Champions League," said Ronaldo.
