Arsenal football player Kai Havertz's wife published today the content of threatening messages, including threats to an unborn child, that she received via social networks.
Havertz was the tragic figure in the duel with Manchester United in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, which the "Red Devils" won on penalties.
The German missed a shot from 11 meters in the second series.
Haverc's wife Sofija posted on Instagram two private messages she received after the game and both are threatening and dangerous.
Arsenal have reported it to the police and are working with a specialist data firm to track down the perpetrators, the BBC reported.
"It's shocking that you think it's okay to write messages like this. I hope you're ashamed," said Sofija Haverc with the content of the threatening message.
In another message she stated:
"I'm not sure what to say, but please be respectful. We're better than this."
