The English FA Cup is the oldest football competition in the world, bringing matches that have a special charm, both for lower league clubs and for the biggest clubs on the Island.
The magic of the FA Cup, the original island football, was felt in the most beautiful way tonight by Montenegrin Milutin Osmajić, who led his Preston to the next round with two goals - 2:1 against Charlton.
A great evening at "Deepdale", Osmajić put his team in the lead in the 32nd minute with a fantastic volley after a corner kick.
After Beria equalized five minutes before the end of the first half, another goal was scored by the former player of Sutjeska, Cadiz, and Portuguese Visela...
In the 47th minute, Osmajić took the ball away from the visiting goalkeeper and scored for what would turn out to be the final score of 2:1.
After joining Preston a year and a half ago, 25-year-old Osmajić has scored 12 goals in the Championship and three in the League Cup, these are his first goals in the FA Cup.
And he's making a proper comeback, following a suspension in November for biting an opposing player.
Osmajić delighted the entire public at the beginning of January by suggesting to his team leaders that, due to the tragedy in Cetinje, Preston players wear black jerseys in the match against Oxford, and now he has thanked the club in the most beautiful way with goals for accepting that idea.
The FA Cup continues, Preston have a good draw, in the next round, in the 1/16 finals they host third division Wycombe.
Osmajić's team "Sharks" escaped, they might make it to the round of 16, if the team from "Deepdale" advances...
