Partizan's first and to date only signing of the winter transfer window is Montenegrin footballer Milan Vukotić. The forward has made a name for himself in the first part of the season in the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League, and was named Player of the Year in the domestic championship.
Vukotić is preparing for the second part of the season with Partizan in Antalya, and in the sixth episode of "Partizan's Interview", which was published on the club's website, he spoke about his arrival in Belgrade.
"I like to get the team moving, to score goals and provide assists, everything that adorns the forward game. The team and coaching staff have accepted me in the best possible way, everything is positive and I want it to stay that way. The pitches here in Turkey are really good, so far everything is going well. The training is great, everything I try is working. I am also getting used to the coaching staff's demands. Sometimes it is difficult, but it is all going in the right direction," said Vukotić.
An important role in Vukotić's transfer to Partizan was played by Predrag Mijatović, who convinced the footballer in front of the club's working group of which he is a member that Partizan was the best choice.
"It was really unexpected. We had a game against Petrovac, after which I got on the bus and listened to music. At one point my phone rang, I saw a Spanish number. I didn't know what to think, but I answered and, when he introduced himself to me, everything was immediately clear to me. He gave me advice through which I could progress both as a person and as a player. After that, I was aware that my only desire was Partizan and nothing else," explained Vukotić.
Vukotić also revealed his wishes for the Partizan jersey.
"A double crown, of course. Always as many goals and assists as possible - that's what motivates me and gives me the wind at my back to move forward with maximum focus," concluded Vukotić.
