A new Manchester City, with newcomers Abdukodir Husanov and Omar Marmus, did not start well in the derby against Chelsea, but a second win in a row gives Pep Guardiola reason to be optimistic.
The reigning English champions triumphed 3-1 after a turnaround by "erasing" Husanov's big mistake, the Uzbek who played his first minutes for his new club - the debutant made a poor pass to goalkeeper Ederson, and seconds later Noni Madueke turned that mistake into the lead for the "blues".
And then City started creating chances. Joško Gvardiol equalized before the break, and the turnaround was brought Erling Haaland in the 68th minute when goalkeeper Robert Sanchez unnecessarily stepped out about twenty meters from his own goal.

Chelsea didn't have the strength to get back into the match, and the final score was set by Phil Foden in the finish.
