Brentford players defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 today in the 23rd round of the Premier League.
Brentford had a chance to take the lead in the London derby in the 63rd minute, when Brian Mbeumo put the ball on the "white spot".
The Cameroonian striker hit the post, but the penalty was retaken because Crystal Palace player Mark Gehi was in the penalty area before the penalty was taken.
Mbeumo shot again three minutes later, but this time it was accurate from the penalty spot.
Kevin Shade scored the second goal for the visitors in the 80th minute, and five minutes later Romain Ess, on his debut for Crystal Palace, reduced the score.
Brentford is in 11th place in the Premier League table with 31 points, while Crystal Palace is in 12th place with four points less.
In the next round, Brentford welcomes Tottenham, and Crystal Palace plays host to Manchester United.
Leicester defeated Tottenham 2-1 away from home, ending a run of seven consecutive defeats in the Premier League.
The London club took the lead in the 33rd minute through Richarlison, but Leicester turned the tables between the 46th and 50th minutes. Jamie Vardy equalised first, while Bilal El-Hanus scored Leicester's first goal.
Tottenham suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, taking their total to seven games without a win in the Premier League. The London club are in 15th place with 24 points, while Leicester have moved out of the relegation zone, taking 17th place with 17 points.
Leicester's next match is away against Everton.
