Lazio players defeated Monza 5:1 today, in the 24th round of Serie A, recording their second consecutive triumph in the domestic competition.
Lazio's triumph was announced by Montenegrin international Adam Marušić, who scored in the 31st minute. Guendouzi crossed the ball into the box, Kasteljanos passed it to the far post, where Marušić was, who scored for the third time this season.
It was the only goal of the first half. The Romans continued to play convincingly, doubling their lead in the 57th minute through Pedro (assistance by Kasteljanos), and in the 63rd minute Kasteljanos also scored.
In the 77th minute, Pedro scored the second goal, and on the other side, Sensi scored the consolation goal for Monza from the penalty spot.
The final score was set by Dele-Bashir.
