Chelsea players were defeated by Brighton (3:0) last night in the 25th round of the Premier League, which is their second defeat in a row against this rival.
These teams played a match in the FA Cup the previous week, when Brighton was better, winning 2:1 and eliminating the "Blues" from the further competition.
And after last night's defeat, Chelsea manager Enzo Mareska said he was aware that his team had problems.
"It's difficult when you don't have a real back nine. So we have to look for different solutions. We struggled in the last third, like we have been struggling in the last week or two, so we have to find a solution," Mareska said after the match.
Chelsea is not in good form, having played seven matches in 2025 and only won three times.
"I think we controlled the game for an hour, but since Mitoma's goal it seemed like we could easily concede chances," said Mareska.
