Lecce sporting director: Krstović ready for a big club in the summer, but now we want to enjoy his game

Milan has already tried to secure his signature for next season for 25 million euros, and Inter has reportedly also joined the story, but it is increasingly certain that Nikola Krstović is not only being followed by the bigwigs from the "city of fashion".

This was revealed by Stefano Trinkera, Lecce's sporting director, who told Sky Sports that the southern Italians must be prepared to lose their best player and Montenegrin national team player at the end of the season.

"His talent is still developing, he still has a lot of potential, but he is a key player for us. We enjoy his game, although I am sure that at the end of the season he will be ready for a big club," said Trinkera.

And the fact that he is a key player for Lecce this season is also shown by the numbers, namely the fact that our striker participated in more than half of the club's goals from "Via del Marea".

The former Zeta, Red Star and Dunajska Streda player has scored seven times and set up three goals, while Lecce has scored a total of 18 goals in Serie A so far.

"Sofascore" recently published interesting data, according to which no player in Serie A has participated in more goals for his team, while in Europe, only the guy who is highlighting his candidacy for the Ballon d'Or with his games - Mohamed Salah - had a better performance.

While Krstović was responsible for 55,5 percent of Lecce's goals, the Liverpool legend's average is 62,1.

Lecce is aware that they will probably be without Krstović in the summer, but currently in the Puglia region they want to make the most of the qualities of the "falcon" attacker in order to achieve their goals this season.
