Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is not sure that Erling Haaland will be ready to play against Liverpool in the Premier League derby.
The "Citizens" welcome the leaders on Sunday (17.30:XNUMX p.m.), and Haaland was injured last Saturday in the duel with Newcastle.
"Maybe he will play, I don't know yet. He will have a test so we will see," Guardiola said.
Haaland has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season.
"It's better to have Erling on the pitch than not to be there, but even with him we are in the position we are in now. Everyone is responsible for the good and bad things in the team, but of course we are stronger with Erling," said Guardiola.
Defender John Stones is likely to finish his season, and Manuel Akanji and Rodri are also out for a long time.
The current champion is fourth in the table with 44 points, while Liverpool has 61 points and a game in hand.
