Manchester United must lay off 200 staff as part of cost-cutting measures, the club has announced.
United laid off 250 employees in the first wave last year, and now, as part of its "transformation plan", it is expected to lay off another 200 workers at the club.
"We have a commitment to taking United's men's, women's and academy teams to the highest level. We are launching a series of measures that will transform and renew the club," said United chief executive Omar Berada.
United said it aimed to "return the club to profitability after five years of losses".
"This cannot continue. Our two main priorities are achieving success on the field and improving our facilities. We cannot invest in these goals if we are constantly losing money," Berada added.
"At the end of this process we will have a more financially sustainable club. We will be in a much stronger position to invest in footballing success and improvements to fan facilities, while remaining compliant with Uefa and Premier League regulations," he said.
