Armisa Kuč's hat-trick brought Montenegro its first victory in the new cycle of the Nations League - 3:1 against Lithuania in Gorica.
"The result is the most important, the scoreboard says 3:1, and it was very difficult. Lithuania is absolutely not an outsider, it is a dangerous team that plays in transition," said coach Mirko Marić.
"We could have scored more goals, we even had to take advantage of some of the opportunities we created. However, the Lithuanians created a lot of chances for us and we need to work on that," added Marić.
Montenegro will play their next match in Division C of the Nations League on April 8 at home against Azerbaijan.
