Argentine footballer Claudio Echeverri joined his new teammates at Manchester City today, the English club announced.
Echeverri signed for the "citizens" in January last year, and until now he has been on loan at River Plate.
Echeverri is a 19-year-old attacking midfielder, and he came to Manchester after playing for the Argentine U-20 national team, with whom he captained to second place at the South American Championship.
He scored six goals in nine games in that tournament.
"Football is my life and my dream is to play for one of the best teams in Europe. Today I am closer to that dream. Manchester City is one of the biggest clubs in the world. City is an example to everyone - it shows people how to play football in the best way," Echeverri told the club's website.
He signed a contract until 2028.
"I'm very excited to be part of this team and culture," added Ećeveri.
