Away fans will return to the stadium for the big Scottish football derby between Celtic and Rangers as early as the next match on March 16, British media reported today.
There have been no away fans at the Old Firm since 2023, as the clubs could not agree on the distribution of tickets.
Celtic will host Rangers on March 16th, and the two teams will play at Ibrox in the remainder of the championship.
"Rangers fans will be able to attend our match against Celtic on March 16, and the two clubs have agreed a reciprocal percentage of tickets for away fans. Approximately four percent of the ticket sales capacity at both stadiums will be given to the away club, and everyone at Rangers looks forward to having the support of our fans at the stadium," a Rangers statement said, as reported by the BBC.
"The agreement will be repeated for the Old Firm derby at Ibrox," the statement added.
Celtic have confirmed an agreement for the arrival of visiting fans, once all necessary conditions have been met.
