The European Football Association (Uefa) has fined Real Madrid 30 euros for discriminatory behavior by fans.
This happened in the second leg of the Champions League play-off against Manchester City.
The current European champion was also given a suspended sentence of partial stadium closure for two years.
During that period, 500 seats in the stands could be closed for some of the upcoming matches.
UEFA did not specify what kind of fan behavior was sanctioned, but it is clear that the incident occurred on February 19th at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
Real won that match 3:1 and advanced to the last 6 of the Champions League with a 3:16 aggregate score.
The "Royal Club" hosts Atletico Madrid on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
