Yesterday, after a comeback, Sutjeska defeated Bokelj SBBet in Kotor (2:1) in the 23rd round of the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League and recorded their second triumph in a row in the domestic championship.
Nikšić's team got three points in Kotor after a turnaround, as Bokelj took the lead with a goal by Pepić. But by the end of the first half, Sutjeska turned the tables, with Pajović and Damjanović scoring.
"I think we were better throughout the game, we should have decided the match earlier. We had some chances that we didn't take. I'm generally satisfied with how we looked and how we fought. Especially that we managed to turn things around, to come back and that's a good thing for confidence. The players started to believe in themselves, they see that they have quality," said Sutjeska coach Milija Savović.
After this victory, Sutjeska moved four points behind third-placed Bokelj.
"We have resolved the crisis that burdened us at the beginning. I hope we will continue with even better games, because this is not even close to our maximum. It is a new team, five bonus players start every game. We have potential and I think we can do better than this," said Savović.
The championship continues on Wednesday, Sutjeska welcomes Mornar.
