Barcelona players Marc Casado and Inigo Martinez will miss Spain's Nations League quarter-final match against the Netherlands due to injuries, the Spanish Football Federation announced today.
Casado suffered a right knee injury in Barcelona's 4-2 win over Atletico Madrid in La Liga on Sunday. The Spanish coach called up Alex Garcia from Bayer Leverkusen in his place.
His teammate Martinez also has knee problems, and will be replaced in the national team by Dean Heusen from Bournemouth.
Spain will host the Netherlands in the first leg of the Nations League quarter-finals on Thursday, with the return leg, which Spain hosts, taking place three days later.
