Otrant quickly resolved the issue of a coach after parting ways with Miodrag Vukotić.
The new coach of the Ulcinj first league team is a former football player of the club, Džemal Kaplanbegu.
"We would like to inform you that the management of FC Otrant Olympic has elected Džemal Kaplanbegu as the new head of the coaching staff of our team at today's meeting. Džemal is a prominent former football player of our club and a coach who made our club a second-league player in the 2021/22 season. He also had success when he won a play-off for participation in the First League on the bench of our club when our team played in the play-off against the eminent opponent of the team FK Rudar from Pljevlja. Former prominent football player of our club Meto Divanović, who has so far been extremely successful in leading our great generation of cadets, which is performing with great success in the 2nd Cadet League of Montenegro, was also chosen as his assistant. We wish them the best of luck until the final goal and achieving survival for our club in the elite competition," the statement says.
Otrant is fighting for survival, currently last, three points behind the penultimate Jezera.
