An easy victory was expected, but the Montenegrin football players faced major problems at the start of the World Cup qualifiers.
Most importantly, three points were scored - our players celebrated a 3:1 win against Gibraltar in a match in which they waited until the 70th minute for the lead.
Marko Tući brought it in, and just three minutes later Adam Marušić joined the score, so the "falcons" found a way to avoid the excitement in Nikšić against an opponent who turned out to be better than expected.
The guests took the lead first, Bent scored in the 13th minute after a poor reaction from goalkeeper Nikić, and Stevan Jovetić equalized in the 22nd minute amid a sea of chances created by Montenegro.
Robert Prosinečki's team created three more chances to turn the game around before halftime, only a miracle prevented Jovetić from scoring again, and in the aftermath, nervousness crept into our team.

It was becoming increasingly difficult for Montenegro to find space to harm their rival, and when the nerves were at their peak, Tući's goal arrived on a cross from Marko Janković, which reduced the tension.
Immediately afterwards, substitute Adam Marušić scored, and Montenegro closed the game - they could have celebrated more convincingly by the end (a goal by Marko Vešović and Edvin Kuč, a cross by Marko Bakić), but Gibraltar also threatened. The score remained 3:1...

Our team equalized about ten minutes later with a goal by Jovetić, who had four serious chances in addition to the goal, while Krstović and Camaj also missed.
Another, fourth or fifth chance that Jovetić had today - now his shot was practically saved from the goal line by Lopes when many had already seen the goal and the "Falcons" lead.
A new warning for our players - Gibraltar had a great chance to take a new lead in the 39th minute, but defender Lopes hit the post from about ten meters.
Montenegro fans sent a clear message from the stands and once again showed what the name Andrija Delibasic means to them.
