Serbia has waived the services of the Milinković-Savić brothers in the games to preserve its status in the A League of Nations against Austria. Well, if Sergej plays in the weaker, Saudi championship, that does not apply to Vanja Milinković-Savić.
Vanja is having the season of his life in the Torino jersey and is the best goalkeeper in the top five leagues so far this season.
Gianluca di Marzio even claims that Antonio Conte's Napoli want to sign Vanja in the summer.
"The Neapolitans are planning to transfer the 28-year-old goalkeeper from Torino, despite the fact that they are close to extending the contract with Alex Meret under the 2+1 scheme," reports journalist Di Maczio, referring to "Sky Sport".
So Napoli expects to have two great goalkeepers on the team by next season.
In 33 games this season in all competitions, Milinković-Savić has kept 10 clean sheets and saved four penalties - more than anyone else in Europe's top five leagues.
Despite defending brilliantly, Serbia "exerted" a draw (1:1) in Vienna thanks to the incredible saves of Predrag Rajković. The second leg of the Serbia - Austria match will start at 18 pm at the "Rajko Mitić" stadium.
