The Montenegrin U19 national team succeeded, becoming the first football team to qualify for a major competition - they will compete at the European Championship in the summer.
Nenad Vukčević's team defeated Georgia in Tbilisi in the deciding match (3:1) and joined Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway at the Euro, as well as Romania, which secured direct qualification as the host.
More teams are expected, and the European Championship is scheduled from June 13th to 26th and will be played in three cities in a total of four stadiums.
As announced by the organizer, the host cities are Bucharest with two stadiums, Ploieşti and Voluntari.
In Bucharest, the matches will be played at the "Superbet Arena - Đulești", which is the home of Rapid (capacity 14,047 seats), as well as at the National Raga Stadium, which can accommodate just over eight thousand spectators.
The "Ilie Oana" stadium in Plošeti has a capacity of 15 seats, and the "Angel Jordanescu" stadium in Voluntari has a capacity of 4.600.
