Montenegro has six out of a possible six points at the start of World Cup qualifying.
It wasn't ideal against Gibraltar, it wasn't good against the Faroe Islands either, but our players achieved their goal - Edvin Kuč made it possible with a goal in the 96th minute in the duel with the Faroese.
"The goal was to win six points, we achieved it, although the second win is much more difficult. We started well, fell later, but luck favors the brave - thank you Kuč for this goal, because it brought us a great celebration," defender Igor Vujačić told RTCG and added:
"A victory means a lot to us, of course. We gave everything we had, we were disciplined, but there was also a rival. The Farani showed that they are a good team, physically strong and it is clear that there are no easy rivals anymore. We have to be ready for that. In every match there will be a fight to the end," emphasized Vujačić, who congratulated the youth team on qualifying for the European Championship.
