Nottingham Forest is third in the Premier League table and is likely to play in the Champions League next season, and fans of the famous club increasingly believe that this campaign could be crowned with a trophy.
"Forest Rangers" are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, a competition they have not won since 1959, after eliminating Brighton on penalties (4:3).
Forest reached the semi-finals for the first time in 34 years.
There were no goals at the "Amex" after 120 minutes, and in the penalty shootout, goalkeeper Mats Sels made the difference by stopping shots by Jack Hinshelwood and Diego Gomez in the third and fourth series, respectively.
The only uncertain performer for Forest was Neko Williams in the 3rd series.
Crystal Palace, who earlier today beat Fulham 3:0 at Craven Cottage (goals from Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Enketia), are also in the semi-finals.
The final semi-finalists will be known on Sunday when Preston, led by our Milutin Osmajić, welcomes Aston Villa, and Manchester City visits Bournemouth.
