The head coach of the Montenegrin women's senior football team, Mirko Marić, announced the list of players for the match against Azerbaijan in Group C4 of the Nations League.
Montenegro welcomes Azerbaijan on April 8 (18) at the City Stadium in Nikšić. In the previous two rounds, our team defeated Lithuania and drew with Azerbaijan away, so a victory next Tuesday would bring Montenegro closer to winning first place and qualifying for League B.
"The good thing is that this time we have a lot of time to prepare, we will do eight training sessions, more than usual, which we do at gatherings. It is also good that Lithuania and Azerbaijan will play their match three days before us, so we will have the opportunity to better analyze our rivals. On the other hand, all of that will not mean much if we are not at our best. We know Azerbaijan well, we are of similar quality and we expect another tough match against them. I also hope that the players are in even better competitive shape than they were in February," coach Mirko Marić told the Federation's website.
