The Montenegrin youth national football team defeated the Hungarian national team 1:0 in a friendly match in Budapest today.
The decisive goal was scored by Andrej Kostić in the 60th minute.
Coach Nenad Vukčević said he was satisfied with the game and the result.
He emphasized that they had a lot of bad luck in the first half, that several players complained of injuries and that he was forced to make substitutions because of that.
"That's why it took us a little while to get into the rhythm. At those moments, Hungary had the initiative, with only one major chance they created. As time went on, we got better and better, especially tactically, the Hungarians had no chance to threaten us. We were solid and confident, we had several chances and converted one into a goal through Kostić," said Vukčević.
He pointed out that the team's great progress is visible compared to the games with Luxembourg in February.
