Although he cannot count on leader and top scorer Armisa Kuč due to a hamstring injury, coach Mirko Marić did not even consider her absence as an excuse in the event that Montenegro does not beat Azerbaijan and qualify for the B Nations League.

"I would like for the girls to advance to a higher rank, so that they can compete with teams that are better than ours. We are optimistic, and we have reason to be - we have made it clear from the beginning that the goal is to be first in the group, but we still have to show it on the field," said Marić.
His players can make history, but Marić doesn't want that kind of pressure.
"The match is important, but no more important than the previous ones, like the play-off matches against Northern Ireland and Finland. It's not so important that we would play under more pressure than usual. I see that the girls think that way too, which is good," added Marić.
Armisa Kuč not playing is a serious handicap.
"We all know how much Misa means to us, just her presence on the field brings a lot. However, such things happen in football, I hope that all the girls will give their maximum, that way we can compensate for the handicap. I am sure that we have players in the squad who are ready to create the chances that I believe we will create and turn into goals," Marić emphasized.
The first match against Azerbaijan ended goalless in a cold and windy Baku.
"We have played a lot of matches against each other in recent years and each one was similar. The Azerbaijani team is aggressive and tough, they punish mistakes, and that's how they played in the last cycle in League B. We didn't make any mistakes in the first match, which is why we didn't concede a goal. That's how it should be now, and I believe that individual quality can decide. I hope that will be our quality," Marić said clearly.
He also commented on the statements of our female footballers that they have surpassed League C.
"My feeling is that they are right. I also believe that we are in for more, we will see if we are or not," says Marić, who cannot count on Helena Božić either due to a yellow card.
Jasna Djokovic, one of the most experienced, says that the Montenegrin team can't wait for the match.
"We really don't feel any pressure, we're just looking forward to the match, we want to play our best and show that we're better than Azerbaijan. I'm sure it all depends on us," said Jasna, commenting on Misa Kuč's absence:
