Dejan Ognjanović was elected president of the Association of Clubs of Montenegro (FSCG - Jug) at the Extraordinary Assembly of the Association held today in Kotor, the Football Association of Montenegro announced.
He will succeed Nenad Maslovar in this position.
As they added from FSCG, the extraordinary assembly was scheduled at the initiative and with the signatures of 23 delegates.
"The new Executive Board of the Association for the mandate period 2025 - 2029 has also been elected, consisting of President Dejan Ognjanović and members Ivo Radovanović, Milan Radulović, Neđeljko Gardašević, Neđeljko Marković, Milorad Malovrazić, Vasko Milošević, Ivan Pavićević and Damir Karastanović," FSCG announced.
Ognjanović received the support of 26 delegates present - two Assembly delegates abstained, while the new president did not vote.
"Our mission will be to work dedicatedly, diligently and responsibly, to listen to the clubs and together find solutions to all the problems that pose to the development of football in our region," said Ognjanović and continued:
"Together with the management of the Football Association, we will strive to do as much as possible for football, clubs and players in southern Montenegro, focusing on improving the current situation at all levels - from new projects to improving infrastructure, encouraging work with younger categories and improving competitions managed by the Association."
