Brnović: I think we look too serious and outside of the Montenegrin framework

Buducnost continued its series of positive results against its biggest rival, Sutjeska - last night in Niksic, in the 29th round of the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League, the team from Podgorica celebrated 3:1.

This extended Buducnost's unbeaten streak against Sutjeska to 17 matches. The Podgorica "blues" last suffered a defeat against Sutjeska in September 2021.

Buducnost celebrated last night with goals from Gašević, Bulatović and Bojović, with Miranović scoring for Sutjeska.

"A good game, a real derby. I think we were in control from the first to the last minute. We kept the ball in the first half, made great transitions, controlled everything except for the moment when Sutjeska was very close to the goal when we were very lucky, and then Gašević scored a great goal. In the second half, we played smart, tactically disciplined and scored two goals from counterattacks, and we could have scored at least two more. Congratulations to the Sutjeska team on a good and fighting game, and all the best to our boys," said Buducnost coach Ivan Brnović for the club's website.

Buducnost has 17 points more than Petrovac, who will play away to Otranto-Olimpik today (18).

"I think we look too serious and outside of the Montenegrin framework, which I hope this team will show in the summer when we face European matches that represent the goal of all goals," Brnović concluded.
