Egyptian Mo Salah has rejected a fabulous offer to continue impressing on the biggest stage. The Liverpool striker from Saudi Arabia was offered a fantastic sum of over 500 million pounds.
This was announced by the BBC, without specifying how long the contract was offered.
However, Saah has decided to stay at Anfield and has signed a new contract that will see him earn £40m, £20m per season. The contract expires in the summer.
He joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017. Since then, he has scored 393 goals and provided 243 assists in 109 appearances. This season, he has scored 32 goals in all competitions, 27 of which have come in the Premier League.
Salah is the third-highest scorer in Liverpool's history, behind only Roger Hunt with 285 goals and Ian Rush with 346.
