VJunior Initiate, Killian Mbape, Jude Bellingham... How many times this season alone have they scored when Real Madrid needed it most, how many times have they turned the game in the greats' favor with one move and when it seemed like much was lost.
The leaders, however, failed in the derby against Athletic Bilbao (Mbappe didn't even play due to injury), so he had to take matters into his own hands. Federico Valverde - with a masterful goal in stoppage time, he brought victory and made the "royal club" still believe that they can catch up with Barcelona in the fight for the championship title.
It's not the first time Fede has put Real ahead, nor is it the first time he's done it with a goal, but this goal against the big rival from the Basque Country could have enormous importance - if the "blanks" end up defending their La Liga title.
We present the players who marked the European football weekend:
THE GOALKEEPER
Leno (Fulham) - The "cottages" led against Chelsea for a long time, the German was the most deserving of it, but Fulham couldn't hold on - Chelsea turned things around in the final and continued to believe they could make it to the Champions League.
DEFENSE
Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) - Whatever the future holds for the excellent right-back Beckham, whether he goes to Real Madrid or not, no one can help but believe him when he says that Liverpool is his greatest love. He scored for the “Reds” at Leicester, so the title is now on the doorstep of “Anfield”.
O'Reilly (Manchester City) - there is one positive thing in Manchester City's more than disappointing season - Pep Guardiola has gained a young player he can rely on.
THE MIDDLE
Valverde (Real Madrid) - The Uruguayan can do a lot on the pitch. He would probably be more appreciated at any other club than he is at Real...
Ederson (Atalanta) - he may be the next Real Madrid signing - at Atalanta he shows the continuity that the biggest clubs in the world are looking for. He won the derby with Milan, and in addition to Real Madrid, two Manchester clubs are also interested in him.
Mektomine (Naples) - The Scot is a footballer who never loses a ball, he especially likes that type of player. Antonio ConteMcTominay is a better player now than he was a year or two ago, and as such he plays an important role in Napoli's quest for the Scudetto.
ATTACK
Ursulines (Bologna) - the acrobatics and brilliant goal against Inter were just as important for Napoli fans as they were for Bologna supporters who believe their club can play in the Champions League for the second year in a row.
Rafinha (Barcelona) - the hero of Barça's big turnaround in the duel with Celta. First is the assist on the goal Denmark Olma for 3:2, and then scored twice against their rivals and brought the Catalans closer to the title.
David (Lille) - is not the top scorer in French Ligue 1, ahead of him are Ousmane Dembele i Mason Greenwood, but the Canadian has shown everything he needed to - he can choose a club from the summer, his future is apparently in Barca, Inter or the Premier League.
Girassi (Borussia Dortmund) - If Borussia secures a place in the Champions League, it will be thanks to the coach. Nick Kovača and a goal scorer from Guinea.
Kane (Bayern) - he is looking forward to the first title of his career - Bayern has eight points ahead of champions Bayer Leverkusen with four rounds remaining.
