Dragan Kustudić passed away in Podgorica on Sunday, at the age of 83.
He will be remembered as one of the founders of futsal, which experienced a real boom and expansion in Montenegro in the early 90s.
Kustudić will remain in the history of futsal (until 2022) as the longest-serving president.
He was on the board of the KMF Student Dormitory for 24 years, from 1994 to 2018. He was also the president of the FSCG Futsal Committee during the futsal expansion period from October 1995 to October 1997.
With KMF Studentski dom, he twice won the vice-championship title in the First Futsal League of Montenegro (seasons 2010/11 and 2012/13) and first place at the University Championship of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in Futsal in Niš (1997). He contributed to the club becoming one of the highest quality futsal clubs in the past decade of its existence in the First Futsal League of Montenegro and a club from whose ranks a large number of quality futsal players have established themselves, many of whom have played and are playing for the senior futsal national team of Montenegro.
Dragan Kustudić was buried yesterday in Podgorica.
