Football club Zeta condemned the decision of the UK FSCG Centar Appeals Commission ordering a replay of the football match of the 12th round of the Regional League Center between Olimpik and Čelik.

Čelik celebrated against Olimpik 5:0, and then the decision was made to award the victory to Olimpik with the official result, because Ljubo Kaluđerović, who was suspended, played for Čelik.

After that, Čelik appealed, and the Appeals Committee ordered that the match be replayed, no later than April 30th.

Zeta said that the aforementioned decision grossly violates the legal provisions that regulate the game of football and, through arbitrary interpretation, causes enormous damage to the club.

We are publishing the full text of Zeta's statement, signed by the president of the board, Darko Čelebić:

"The Zeta Football Club strongly condemns the Decision of the UK FSCG Centar Appeals Commission ordering a replay of the football match of the 12th round of the Regional League Center between FK Olympico and FK Čelik. The aforementioned Decision grossly violates the legal provisions regulating the game of football and, through arbitrary interpretation, causes enormous damage to FK Zeta, which, through the play-off system of the competition, was a candidate to return to a higher level of competition, where it actually belongs in terms of quality, but also in terms of its historic first title as the champion of Montenegro.

The “legal virtuosos” from the Appeals Commission, within two days of their establishment, managed to familiarize themselves with the specific case, take statements from the actors, assess their awareness of whether they knew that their actions were violating the rules of the game of football, and issue a shameful Decision annulling the lawful and fact-based legal acts of the UK FSCG Center Competition Commission. Let us return the aforementioned “legal magicians” to the first year of their studies and Case Law as the Source of Law, namely, all cases based on the same legal basis and the same factual situation are interpreted and resolved in a uniform manner.

Football Club Zeta will file a Request for Protection of Legality against the Decision of the UK FSCG Appeals Commission, with specific examples of such cases in which previous expert Appeals Commissions made completely different Decisions than the current Commission.

We call on the entire football public to raise their voices against such violations of the rules so that our football friends throughout Montenegro do not suffer the same fate.

We inform the public that we will initiate appropriate proceedings before the judicial and prosecutorial authorities of Montenegro against the members of the UK FSCG Center Appeals Commission Balša Srdanović, Štjefan Camaj and Nikola Laković for such a decision that introduces anarchy into football competitions in Montenegro, since according to their decision, any club in Montenegro could put a player who is under suspension to play with the explanation that they were not aware that he was suspended without any consequences for the club and the player.

We also call out Mr. Risto Lakić, who as the president of the UK FSCG Center is most responsible for the events in the UK FSCG Center and such decisions in it, has he ever heard in his football career that a match was replayed at the request of a team whose player was suspended and had a 2-match ban due to a red card.

"The Zeta Football Club will find a way to return to its old glory paths, regardless of all circumstances. In the hope that better times are coming for Montenegrin football, we extend our warmest and sportiest greetings to all of you," reads the Zeta response signed by the club's Board of Directors President Darko Čelebić.
