Lazio lost two important points in the fight for the Champions League - 2:2 against Parma at the Olimpico.
It could have been worse for Adam Marušić's team (he played the entire match), as the "milkmen" were leading 2:0, but Lazio managed to get a point in the final minutes through substitute Pedro.
Parma is playing great under Cristian Chivo, they recently stopped Inter (from 0:2 to 2:2 at home), they were better than Juventus in the last round (1:0), and now they have shown that they can handle the favorites even on the road.
However, two goals by Swede Jakob Ondrejka, in the 3rd and 46th minutes, were only enough for a point.
Regardless, Parma has seven points more than Venice, the closest team to the relegation zone.
Lazio missed the chance to equal Juventus in 4th place on points. Bologna is now ahead of them, as is Roma, due to a better goal difference.
Earlier tonight, Bologna also missed a good opportunity - they played 0:0 at Udinese, while in a duel between teams from the bottom half of the table, Cagliari celebrated a 2:0 away win over Verona.
