"Since Miodrag Radulović left, I haven't spoken to the new coach yet. Robert Prosinecki took over the national team and we'll see - they're certainly following and they saw that I had a good season," Đurđević told the Alesto Podcast.

"Honestly, I'm not really worried about the national team right now, I'm already 31 years old, I'm focused on the club now," Đurđević added.
He also told how it came to pass that he, once Serbia's great hope, ended up wearing the Montenegro jersey.
"It didn't work out with Serbia, I got one call-up to the senior national team, but not after that... Plus, Serbia has phenomenal strikers and the competition is great," Đurđević recalled and continued:
"In the end, it turned out that the then coach Radulović called me and asked if I would play for Montenegro, my answer was yes, because it means a lot when you have playing for the national team on your CV. After all, until recently we were the same country, so I didn't see it as a big change."
