Aston Villa beat Fulham 1-0 at home in Birmingham today, in the 35th round of the Premier League. The only goal was scored by Youri Tielemans in the 12th minute.
Fulham player Ryan Sessegnon scored in the 50th minute, but after the use of VAR technology, the goal was disallowed for handball.
Aston Villa achieved their 17th win in the league and are seventh in the table with 60 points, the same number as fifth-placed Chelsea and sixth-placed Nottingham Forest, but with a game in hand.
The Birmingham team still has a chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League, which will be contested by the top five teams in the Premier League table.
Fulham is eighth in the table with 51 points.
Everton's players drew 2-2 with Ipswich at home in Liverpool today. Beto gave Everton the lead with a goal in the 26th minute, and Dwight McNeill extended the lead with a goal in the 35th minute.
Everton's lead was reduced by Julio Enciso with a goal in the 41st minute, and Ipswich equalized with a goal by George Hurst in the 79th minute.
Everton are 14th in the table with 39 points, while Ipswich are 18th with 22 points. Everton will play away to London against Fulham in the next round, while Ipswich will host Brentford.
Leicester City ended their 2-game winless run in the Premier League with a 0-11 victory at home to Southampton. Jamie Vardy gave Leicester the lead in the 17th minute, before Jordan Ayew sealed the win with a 44th-minute strike.
Leicester is in 19th place in the table with 21 points, while Southampton occupies the last, 20th place with 11 points.
Leicester will play away against Nottingham Forest in the next round, while Southampton will welcome Manchester City.
Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton have already lost their chance of survival in the Premier League and will play in the Championship next season.
