Everton players defeated Southampton 2-0 at home today, in the penultimate match of the 37th round of the Premier League, thus officially saying goodbye to the legendary stadium - "Goodison Park".
The double scorer in Everton's victory was Iliman Endiaj in the sixth minute and the second minute of first-half stoppage time.
Everton has played at Goodison Park since 1892, while starting next season they will move to the 52.888-seat "Hill Dickinson" stadium.

Everton's most Premier League wins at Goodison Park are against Southampton - 17, followed by West Ham, who they have beaten 16 times. Liverpool's most defeats at Goodison Park have come against Manchester United - 19.
Everton enters the final round of the Premier League in 13th place with 45 points, while Southampton is in last place, 20th, with 12 points and was previously relegated to the Championship.
In the final round, Everton plays away to Newcastle, and Southampton hosts Arsenal.
