The previous executive director of Budućnost, Novak Novaković, has been removed from that position, "Vijesti" has learned unofficially.
He was dismissed by the authorization of the president of the club's Supervisory Board, Boško Kovačević.
A few days ago, Kovačević said in a statement to "Vijesti" that Novaković, beyond his authority, appointed Dejan Damjanović as sports director, the day before the club's new Supervisory Board was formed.

Last month, at a conference marking the club's centennial, the mayor of Podgorica, Saša Mujović, warned Novaković not to rush into appointing Damjanović until the club's new Supervisory Board is elected, so that every decision has a statutory framework.
This is not the only "omission" that is being blamed on the former executive director, and the biggest one is the complications surrounding (not) obtaining a license to compete in European competitions in the first round?
How is it possible that a club that had millions in revenue "fell" to pay taxes of several tens of thousands of euros.
It should be known today whether Budućnost's appeal will be successful, but in any case, Novaković has been relieved of his duties.
The club is expected to make an official statement on this matter during the day.
