After the title, the Cup - Montenegrin coach Nebojša Jovović won the double crown in Kuwait, together with the Montenegrin coaching staff consisting of Marko Jovanović, Darko Lubarda and Blažo Igumanović.
If we add to that the Super Cup trophy won in January, it means that the Kuwaiti club has won everything there was to win this season. And there is one more, the League Cup, or Emir Cup, where Jovović's team reached the quarterfinals.
The Cup final between Kuwait Club and Al Arabiya was just as dramatic as the direct title duel between the same two teams, in the same stadium, just eight days ago.
And this time the Kuwait club rejoiced, and in what a way - with a penalty goal in stoppage time of the second extra time! The score ended 1:0.
Just how dramatic it was is also evidenced by the fact that Al Arabi also had a penalty at the beginning of the second half, but the Kuwaiti goalkeeper caught the "live" ball and kept his team level...
All the way to extra time and, it seemed, a penalty shootout. Instead of taking a penalty, he awarded one.
Jovović has been winning trophies in the Arab world, and since he set off for the Middle East in 2013, this is his eighth trophy with four different teams.
