The promise began to be fulfilled, as Juve secured the arrival of three players in just a few hours - Douglas Costa from Bayern, Patrik Schick from Sampdoria and Keita Balde from Lazio. Confirmations are coming from all sides.
Costa will be Juventus' biggest signing this summer. Confirmation arrives from Germany that the deal has been agreed upon after several days of negotiations.
Bayern agreed to reduce the demand from 50 million euros, and Juventus increased the offer to 40 million and the deal fell through. The Bavarians previously pointed out that Costa and Renato Sanches could go this summer and Juve wasted no time.
An agreement was also reached with the Brazilian manager Junior Mendons. The former Shakhtar player will earn six million per season during the five-year contract.
The second reinforcement is Chic, as announced. Juve paid Sampdoria a buyout clause of 25 million euros, and the Czech will undergo medical examinations and sign a contract after the European Youth Championship.
"Negotiations are over and we are now in the phase of document exchange. He wanted to move to Juventus and now he is practically their player," said Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero last night.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Šik will play for Juve in the next season or will go somewhere on loan, but there is no doubt that he is a player of the giants from Turin.
