The head coach of the Montenegrin youth football team, Nenad Vukčević, has announced the list of players for the upcoming European Championship, which will be held in Romania from June 13 to 26.
In relation to the qualifying tournament in Georgia, coach Vukčević cannot count on Juventus and Lens players Vasilije Adžić and Andrija Bulatović. The injured Zarije Kumburović (Podgorica), who also played in Georgia, is not on the list, and Feyenoord player Aleks Zeković is also injured.
"Falcons" are in Group A, with Romania, Denmark and Spain. Montenegro will start on June 13th with the host (20). Three days later, their rival will be Denmark (17), while our team will play the last match in the group on June 19th against Spain.
"A historic success has already been achieved by qualifying for the European Championship, now we can only do a little more. Unfortunately, the circumstances are such that we will not be complete and that is what makes us unhappy. But the reality is, I am sure that the guys who are here will do everything to respond to the maximum of what we ask of them. We will see how long that will be enough," coach Vukčević told the Federation's website.
