The French football team won bronze in the Nations League, after defeating Germany 2-0 in the third-place match in Stuttgart today.
France's advantage was given by Kylian Mbappe with a goal in the 45th minute, as he managed to beat Germany goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen after receiving a long pass from Aurelien Choumany.
The final score was set by Michael Oliseh with a goal in the 84th minute, after a big mistake by German defender Robin Koh. The German international passed the ball to Mbappe, who stepped in front of Ter Stegen. The French captain nevertheless decided to play Olisre, who easily slotted the ball into the unguarded net of the German goal.
A goal scored by Germany striker Deniz Undav in the 53rd minute was disallowed due to a foul earlier committed by his teammate Niklas Fulkrug.
Portugal and Spain will meet in the final, which is scheduled for tonight at 21pm in Munich.
