The Montenegrin youth national football team recorded its second draw in June friendly matches.
Montenegrin football players played a goalless draw with Azerbaijan in Baku last night, 0:0.
There was no winner in the duel with Turkey, three days ago in Istanbul, which ended 1:1.
Coach Goran Perišić said that the Montenegrin football players played another quality test before the start of the September qualifying cycle.
"In Baku, players who played less against Turkey were given the chance to start the game, and I think we were a better opponent, but we were unlucky to score a goal from a few chances. It is clear that we lack more creativity from the midfield, but I believe that by the start of the qualifiers, that too will be at a higher level," said Perišić.
He reminded that he would then be able to count on players from the most talented generation of 2006.
"It is also known that the June date is inconvenient due to the end of the long season, but we are pleased with our attitude and the players' desire to wear the national team jersey. The boys gave their all in these two games," said Perišić.
