Following in the footsteps of his older brother: Job Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund

Sunderland Football Club has agreed to sell young player Job Bellingham to German club Borussia Dortmund, English media reported.

According to media reports, the new Premier League player accepted compensation of around 33 million euros, plus bonuses of around five million euros.

The contract also includes 15 percent of future sales of the 19-year-old striker.

This will also be the biggest transfer in the history of Sunderland, which, with the help of Job Bellingham, won promotion to the Premier League after eight years.

Job Bellingham will become Borussia Dortmund's second most expensive signing, if bonuses are not included.

His older brother Jude Bellingham previously played for the same club, spending three seasons at Dortmund before moving to Real Madrid.

Like his brother, Job Bellingham came through the youth ranks at Birmingham, from where he moved to Sunderland in 2023.
