Captain Vračar: We believe in ourselves even against Denmark

"The Danes are a tough opponent to play against because they are physically dominant. But we have analyzed them - we have seen their weaknesses. We will try to exploit their weaknesses and stop them where they are most dangerous," says the youth international.

After a painful defeat in the final match against Romania (2:1), the Montenegrin youth national team is preparing for the second round of the European Championship, in which they will play against Denmark on Monday at 17 pm in Bucharest.

Captain Miloš Vračar emphasizes that the team has not lost spirit and that they are ready to respond to the challenge.

"A tough defeat because we did our best to preserve a positive result, but we didn't succeed. It's not easy, but this is a team of formed personalities, let's move on - to score three points against Denmark," said Vračar.

Montenegro came out weakened against Romania, and despite their fighting spirit, they failed to hold on until the end.

Now, with the return of suspended players (Marko Perović, Karadžić, Tadić), the atmosphere and confidence remain positive.

"We talked after the game, we are aware of where we made mistakes, both in implementing tactical ideas and physically. We fell short in the finish. But we are full of confidence ahead of the match with Denmark, despite the defeat. We believe we have a chance against both them and Spain. We are still in the game – there is no reason not to believe in ourselves," the captain emphasizes.

Denmark is a serious rival.

"The Danes are a tough opponent to play against because they are physically dominant. But we have analyzed them - we have seen their weaknesses. We will try to exploit their weaknesses and stop them where they are most dangerous."

Vračar does not hide his pride in wearing the national team jersey in such an important competition.

"We gave our maximum, it wasn't enough for a point or three, but we have nothing to be ashamed of. We are proud to represent Montenegro on such a big stage and we think we are doing it in the best way. Now we will try to take what we think we deserve - the first points in a big competition."
