The Montenegrin youth team was completely helpless in the 2nd round of the European Championship against Denmark - 5:0, at the Rapid Stadium in Bucharest.
Romania dominated in the first round against Montenegro, and Denmark did so from the first minute.
At every moment, the Scandinavians looked much more prepared, they were stronger in the duel, more specific, while our guys only crossed the center a few times, looking as if they were not ready for even 10 minutes of a game, let alone the entire championship.
Montenegro conceded the first two goals after mistakes when Willum Bertelsen and Mike Temsen scored in the 9th and 32nd minutes respectively. The scorer of the second goal scored in the 52nd minute, and then in the 68th minute he set up a goal for Jonathan Agyekum, who put an end to Montenegro's heavy defeat with two goals.
The only thing our national team did in this match was crossbar by Marko Tadić after a pass by Marko Perović.
It's not mathematical yet, but it's clear that with their second defeat at the Euros, and a very convincing one at that, Nenad Vukčević's team said goodbye to the first major competition for our football - certainly a historic one.
Montenegro's next match is against its toughest rival in the tournament, the current champion Spain - on Thursday at 19 p.m.
