The assembly of the Sutjeska football club, at which the new Board of Directors (Board) and president were to be elected tonight, has been postponed.
The assembly was supposed to start at 18 p.m., but was postponed until further notice, as fans gathered to express their dissatisfaction with the announced changes.
Today, it was planned that the Chief Financial Officer of EPCG, Miro Vračar, would be elected as the new president of the club, succeeding Boris Rašković in that position, while, according to media reports, Andrija - Piro Vujović was to be elected as the club's director.
That's why Sutjeska fans gathered today, who are against Rašković's departure. The Dukes expressed their position with a torch and violent reactions.
Television Nikšić released a statement, as "Vojvoda" put it, which highlights the following:
"For the sake of objective public information, and in response to the headlines in certain media outlets, we would like to emphasize that our gathering was created as an act of response to an attempt to politicize the club. That is why Vojvode are not in favor of a new management in the form of Andrija Vujović, or anyone else who comes from the ranks or is proposed by political parties, because politics has no place on the platform," reads the Vojvode's response to Television Nikšić, which was published on that portal.
In the meantime, Vojvode told "Vijesti" that they will issue a statement tomorrow, and that the information published on the RTNK website is not correct.
Whether anything will change will be known in the coming days.
