The rivals of the Montenegrin clubs in the 1st round of the Conference League qualifiers are known - Sutjeska will play against the Belarusian Dinamo Brest, while Dečić will face Sileks from North Macedonia.
The draw in Nyon also decided that both of our representatives would be the hosts in the first matches.
Possible rivals of Nikšić were Vardar Skopje, Escaldes (Andorra) and Željezničar from Sarajevo, and teams from Tuzi - Neman Grodno from Belarus, Birkirkara from Malta and Torpedo Kutaisi from Georgia.
Dečić will play in European competitions for the fourth time since 2021, while Sutjeska returns to the European scene after a year's break.
Due to the war in Ukraine, the club from Nikšić will likely play the second leg outside of Belarus, possibly in Serbia, Hungary or, like Dinamo Minsk last season, in Azerbaijan.
Dinamo last played in Europe in 2022, and its greatest successes were the 3rd qualifying round in the Champions League and the Europa League play-offs (2021).
On the other hand, Sileks from Kratovo has only missed a round in UEFA competitions once. And that was back in 1995, when they eliminated the Hungarian Vac in the Cup Winners' Cup.
The first matches of the first round will be played on July 1th, with the return matches seven days later.
Earlier today, Buducnost got a rival in the Champions League qualifiers - it will be Armenian Noa.
